Sorolla 36

Renovating and expanding, rather than starting from scratch. That was the approach for the Sorolla 36 building, a project in Benalmádena completed in 2022 involving an existing property with a ground floor and one upper floor.

The work combined the renovation of the property with the addition of an extra floor and a rooftop solarium. The result is a building consisting of a ground floor plus two additional floors containing 3 homes and topped with an open roof terrace, totaling 280 m² of built area: a transformation that allowed for the expansion of the building and a new configuration without replacing it with a completely new construction.

Sorolla 36 represents Nériq’s approach to renovation: working with existing structures and adapting them through interventions that combine refurbishment and expansion within the same project.
